Chairs, table and matching shelf

The idea for this set of furniture came to me while watching a performance of Igor Stravinsky's 1910 ballet 'The Firebird'.

The vibrant costumes, with their ornamental feathers and bold colours, are reflected in the back of the chairs and the crest of the shelves.
